Strategic Group, with its sizeable portfolio, has brought in house many of the services required to manage real estate on a day-to-day basis.
We employ our own building operators, HVAC technicians, construction and demo crew, electricians, painters, janitors and even security guards. Part of our office team, and an extension of our field staff, our team consists of property administrators, property managers, leasing negotiators and assistants, real estate analysts, lawyers and paralegals, property accountants, just to name a few of the specialized individuals we have on board.

Our Edmonton office is currently seeking experienced individuals for the position of Building Operator.
The Building Operator’s daily routine will comprise of inspecting buildings, ensuring their proper operation, attending to tenant’s request, performing regular preventative maintenance tasks, requesting necessary supplies and common area improvements.
The Building Operators are supported by a knowledgeable team consisting of the General Manager – Building Operations and his assistant, Property Managers and Property Administrators.

By supporting the Professional Development of our staff, we ensure that not only we provide career growth opportunities but that our team's knowledge on how to maximize the value of our Real Estate continues to increase. As well and have given our Building Operators the opportunity to grow into supervisory positions, with the goal of growing their careers and improve job satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building operations and maintenance, including HVAC and Building Automation Systems. Minimum of 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (or equivalent) required.
Having your own reliable transportation is a must.
The additional critical skills necessary for this job include the ability to multi task and prioritize, while providing outstanding customer service. Excellent communication skills are a must as the Building Operator has constant contact with tenants and Office Personnel.
