Our Leadership Team

Riaz Mamdani is founder and CEO of Strategic Group. Under his leadership Strategic Group has experienced impressive diversification and growth. Riaz holds a degree in pharmacy from the University of Manitoba and is a graduate of the University of Calgary, Law School. During his years in legal practice he focused on corporate, commercial and securities law.

Riaz is an active financier and founder of numerous companies. He has steered two private companies from concept stage to international public corporations listed on the Nasdaq National Market with multi-billion dollar market capitalizations.

Mike Irvine oversees the financial management, corporate compliance and governance for Strategic Group and its related entities. His portfolio includes a full range of financial services, human resources and reporting processes, ensuring best practices are in place. He is a chartered accountant and holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees. Mike has over 15 years of experience directing corporate financial operations, tax strategies and investment vehicles.

Elise Bacon is responsible for directing the financial matters of Strategic Group’s corporate accounting team as well as providing financial stewardship over all of Strategic Group’s development projects. Elise has over 20 years of experience in a variety of accounting roles in the oil and gas and high tech sectors including Fortune 500 companies.

Dave Bulloch is responsible for leading the private equity and venture capital division of Strategic Group, our subsidiary companies, and Strategic Group’s communications and information technology divisions. Dave also provides leadership to the property services team and the finance, HR, and support functions at Strategic Maintenance Ltd. Dave has 12 years of senior management experience in the real estate, oilfield service, telecommunications, technology, and equipment rental industries and holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Management degree, and a Business Administration diploma. In 2008 Dave was recognized as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine.

Jim Dimanis leads the property management team in the coordination of all property operations while collaborating with various teams within the organization.  His portfolio includes the effective and efficient management of Strategic properties, with the goal of providing excellent customer service to tenants and optimizing the value of Strategic real estate holdings. He brings over 18 years of experience to the role including senior property and asset management positions within the public and private sectors.

Sean McCullough is responsible for leading Strategic Group’s team of leasing professionals and maximizing all forms of revenue derived from commercial real estate. He also provides leadership to the construction team at Strategic Maintenance Ltd. to closely align our construction practices with our tenant's requirements. Sean has 20 years of experience in management, leasing, development, construction, financing and acquisition and disposition of retail, industrial and office properties in a number of portfolios ranging from one to five million square feet.

William (Bill) Reeder is responsible for managing our valued tenant relationships by ensuring the unique needs of our tenants are heard, understood and met by all teams at Strategic. As a liaison between our leasing, design, property management, construction and maintenance services teams, Bill acts as a tenant advocate to deliver exceptional client service. With more than 24 years of commercial property management experience, Bill specializes in balancing superior customer service with economical operational strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an R.P.A. (Real Property Administrator) designation from BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association).

Gudrun Seredynski is responsible for directing the financial matters of the real estate operations of Strategic. She provides the necessary internal reporting and financial information to the executive team that guides and calibrates the financial decision-making within Strategic.   Gudrun brings over 17 years of financial accounting experience in the real estate industry and nine years in public practice to the role. She is Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Yossi leads the Strategic Group team of real estate asset managers providing insight in planning, acquisition, disposition and financing. He delivers full-cycle portfolio and market analysis that supports the organization with a goal of maximizing the value of Strategic’s real estate portfolio. Yossi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with over six years of experience in real estate leasing, investment and asset management.
