Strategic Group announces construction on 2020-4th Street SW
Strategic Group is pleased to announce that we are mobilizing onsite and preparing for construction that will soon commence on our 2020-4th Street SW project. We will be delivering a completed retail and office complex on this prominent block in 2013.
Strategic Group acquired the 4th Street SW construction site in 2008 from an insolvent developer. At that time, Strategic designed a new office and retail development spanning an entire inner city block in Mission. The site was prepared for construction and Strategic patiently waited for the right economic circumstances to continue construction.
With the arrival of positive economic conditions, the decision was made in November 2011 to start construction on this development.
The project was designed with significant citizen input and with the support of an active and visionary group of local businesses. The finished complex will be a 135,000 square foot, mixed-use, six-storey building that will serve to enhance the neighbourhood, and fit in nicely with the trendy, eclectic atmosphere that is the Mission District.
