The gift of giving continues into the new year. Join us at the Calgary Farmers’ Market on Saturday, January 19 from 10 am – 2 pm for Frosty’s Birthday and Project Warmth Day! Bring those gently-used winter clothing items you no longer need to the market and receive a voucher to decorate a Jelly Modern Doughnut. It’s a day of fun for the whole family, while teaching your kids the importance of giving in the winter season. Frosty the Snowman will be celebrating his birthday, along with ice carving and a Christopher Cool Magic Show at 1:30 pm.
All clothing donations will be donated to the Project Warmth Society of Alberta, a registered charitable organization that provides warm clothing to shelters throughout Calgary. Most needed items include winter jackets, gloves, boots, mittens, blankets, sleeping bags, scarves, snow pants, and sweaters.
