We are excited to be a part of Calgary’s 2016 Beakerhead which officially hit the streets on Wednesday, September 14.
Last year, we opened the doors to our iconic Barron Building and hosted several Beakerhead events that brought together many Calgarians for a phenomenon of arts, science and engineering.
From September 14-18, the ‘Highly Social Science’ installation will debut at Mission Centre. During this time, a large-scaled barometer will be installed to the building which will scan social media for reactions to important issues. Beakerhead facilitators will be asking the public questions and crowdsourcing answers to make the needle move on the installation. ‘Highly Social Science’ will run daily from Wednesday – Sunday starting at 10:00 a.m. The twitter poll is posted to Beakerhead’s account @Beakerhead where you can cast your vote.
