Strategic Group puts a spotlight on community with new director
Strategic Group is pleased to announce that Daorcey Le Bray has joined the team as Director, Brand and Community.
“Building and strengthening community, whether that community is our tenants and customers or the larger community in which we live and work, is incredibly important to us,” said Riaz Mamdani, CEO of Strategic Group. “Daorcey brings a wealth of experience and insight that will make him a valuable asset to our team.”
Daorcey joins Strategic Group after nearly eight years as Senior Communication Strategist with the Office of the Mayor at The City of Calgary. During that time, he supported Mayor Naheed Nenshi and his team to make Calgary an even better place for all its citizens. From the daily communication operations of an accomplished Mayor’s Office to the emergency response of the 2013 flood, Daorcey has been deeply involved in much of Calgary’s recent history.
As part of his new role at Strategic Group, Daorcey will manage the company’s brand and reputation, community investment, and external and internal communication.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Strategic Group at this exciting time in its history,” said Daorcey. “It has a great story to tell and team that is driven to do great things. I want to be a part of that.”
