Congratulations to team member Vasily Bigildeev, Energy Engineer, Commercial Property Management, on recently winning the award for ‘Energy Manager of the Year’ from The Association of Energy Engineers Alberta Chapter.
The award celebrates the efforts of professionals in Alberta who have delivered outstanding achievements in energy efficiency and best practices. With Vasily’s help as part of our team at Strategic Group, we are reducing our environmental impact every year and, in the process, creating a more sustainable and prosperous community. Our tenants, stakeholders, and community neighbours expect us to take environmental action together, and we are proud to make smart choices that reduce our collective impact.
We participate in a wide range of Energy Efficiency Alberta programs and our new construction and re-purposing projects all earn environmental sustainability certifications. The majority of our office buildings are BOMA BEST certified, recognizing excellence in energy and environmental management, performance, and improvements in commercial real estate. Year over year, we are finding more energy savings through regular energy audits and energy efficiency projects.
