On Saturday, January 19, 2019, we partnered with the Project Warmth Society of Alberta and the Calgary Farmers’ Market for Frosty’s Birthday and Project Warmth Day! Families gathered at the market to take part in family-fun activities and to drop off clothing and cash donations to help those in need.
Together, we collected 887 pieces of clothing, which have been transported to The Project Warmth Society of Alberta and will be sorted, cleaned, and redistributed to shelters, families, and individuals around Calgary. Additionally, we raised $505.50 in cash donations to support the organization.
Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to our volunteers and partners – Calgary Farmers’ Market, The Project Warmth Society of Alberta, Jelly Modern Doughnuts and Christopher Cool, who all made the day a success.
